ABOUT THE JOB

You will be responsible for behaving in accordance with NAB's Code of Conduct and demonstrating the Enterprise Behaviours in all customer, community and employee interactions.

 

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible in driving an Automation First led approach for system, SIT and unit testing across NAB, and contribute to platform integration and performance tests.
  • Implement & monitor quality metrics including trend analysis of discrepancies and defects; drive investigations into problems and correction actions relating to recurring problems
  • Proactively address issues discovered in the software components, infrastructure and scripts in the various environments
  • Ensure that quality procedures defined for the position within the service are followed.
  • Document quality procedures for the service
  • Ensure that the SDLC procedures defined and documented followed within the service.
  • Participate in production releases
  • Configuration Management Plan, Knowledge Management
  • Manage scope of release to ensure all risk and impacts are captured and mitigated
  • Create own and manage the application Release schedule
  • Manage asset stakeholder and project relationships for features within the release
  • Ensure the team adheres to the key dates and that any exemptions are known and mitigated
  • Participate and manage the warranty period. Co-ordination of fixes and implementations during warranty
  • Own, manage and demonstrate uplift from PIRs for continuous improvement on the release process

 

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Must have

  • 5+ years’ extensive experience of DevOps and SRE across all phases of software lifecycle
  • AWS and/or cloud expertise
  • Experience leading and motivating test teams in a highly pressurised and results orientated environment utilising CD/CI / DevOps
  • Proficient user of JIRA, Confluence, qTEST, Git HUB, Jenkins, Gradle, Linux (via Command line) & other leading DevOps tools
  • Ability to develop code and work with testers and developers
  • Ability to lead and coach on code reviews between Developers and Quality Engineering.
  • Experience in multiple automation frameworks
  • Practical experience of Service-Orientated Architectures
  • Experienced and highly capable in continually developing and balancing technical and soft skills with an understanding that making great software requires both problem identification and prevention
  • Excellent communication, documentation, organization and time management skills
  • Excellent analytical / problem-solving skills and willingness to take ownership Campaigner and sponsor of CI/CD methodologies

Nice  to have

  • Software/Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Programming or related tertiary qualifications
