ABOUT POSITION

The Katalon Product Design Team's mission is to create a complete and intuitive product experience for users, making it easy for them to use the product and derive value from it. As a Senior Designer, your chance and responsibilities will be:

• Apply industry standards and a user-centered approach to your design process. Understand users’ needs & behaviours to improve the product experience;
• Help other designers create user flows and wireframes to discuss with product managers and relevant stakeholders;
• Deliver attractive and practical user interfaces across various modules in the Platform with a solid understanding and reasonable design decisions;
• Work closely with the product managers and related stakeholders, and departments to ensure any design decisions will help to deliver delightful experiences;
• Partly own the Design System materials and operational processes to maintain and contribute;
• Collaborate with designers and Design lead to improve the quality bar and continuously improve the Design Process;
• Own the process of planning and conducting Usability Testing to validate and refine designs.

Requirements

Must-have

• At least 3+ years of experience.
• Have a strong understanding of design principles & UX best practices.
• Have a strong portfolio demonstrating sensibilities for visual design, user interaction, layout, typography, and readability.
• A portfolio can demonstrate the overall research and development process and be able to articulate your design decisions.
• Have experience working with research in support of product prototyping and testing, future visioning and strategy development.
• Good user-centric & problem-solving mindset.
• Care about details.
• Must have good knowledge of Design Systems and HTML CSS.
• Have the ability to work across teams and communicate with stakeholders.

Nice-to-have

• Good written English, able to explain your work, process, and decisions clearly
• Knowledge of UX Writing
