Mandate: Own the P&L and delivery outcomes for CoderPush’s scoped client projects in Vietnam.

CoderPush is an AWS Advanced Partner and a ~80-person engineering company building the systems that run Vietnam’s most demanding industries: banking, capital markets, trading platforms, and industrial AI.
We work with leading Vietnamese banks, securities firms, and energy / industrial clients. We compete on outcomes and engineering standards rather than price, we run on written governance instead of informal trust, and we treat AI as a delivery multiplier on every engagement.
Why this role exists
Our scoped client projects are complex, multi-party, and commercially serious. We need a single owner who can hold the P&L, lead the hardest engagements personally, build a strong PM team beneath them, and keep delivery sustainable under pressure.
This person is the point of contact for everything related to delivering scoped projects for Vietnam clients.
In scope: End-to-end delivery and P&L of assigned scoped projects, predominantly banking / securities clients and cloud / data / AI work.
What you’ll own
Delivery P&L
- Carry the combined P&L target for the project portfolio assigned to you.
- Propose and run the KPI and bonus model for the delivery team, tied to P&L plus delivery performance.
- Protect margin: control scope, manage subcontractor and vendor costs, and flag commercial risk early.
Project Leadership at Scale
- Be capable of personally leading a complex engagement when it matters, typically 20–30 people spanning CoderPush teams, subcontractors, vendors, cloud partners such as AWS and GCP, and the client’s working team and PM.
- Run governance at client CTO / PMO level, including status, escalations, acceptance criteria, UAT, and cutover.
- More importantly, know when not to: with 4–5 projects running concurrently, judge which engagements you lead directly and which need a PM hired or deployed against them, so delivery quality holds across the whole portfolio rather than only where you are personally present.
Estimation & AI-Native Delivery
- Challenge and validate engineering effort estimates rather than accepting them wholesale.
- Hold teams to timelines that are realistic but sharp, explicitly accounting for the productivity gains of AI-assisted development.
Team Leadership
- Hire, coach, and manage 4-5 Project Managers; raise the PM craft and build a dependable delivery bench.
- Assess the PMs and resources assigned to projects, give structured feedback, and make resourcing recommendations to leadership.
Resource & Capacity Management
- Assess delivery-department capacity and utilization across concurrent projects.
- Work with HR to mobilize people, make use of bench, and forecast hiring against the sales pipeline.
- Coordinate with the Staffing Department to draw on spare resources when available.
Commercial & Presales
- Partner with Account Management / Sales and technical presales during new engagements, shaping scope, estimates, delivery approach, staffing, and commercial viability before commitments are made.
Governance & Standards
- Maintain CoderPush’s written delivery standards: project plans, RAID logs, integration specs, cutover plans, acceptance criteria, and UAT.
- Ensure compliance with client security and regulatory requirements relevant to banking and securities.
What you bring
- 10+ years in IT delivery / project management, including 3+ years managing other PMs or managers.
- Demonstrated ownership of delivery P&L or department-level commercials, including margin, cost control, and resourcing economics.
- Track record delivering complex, multi-vendor projects in regulated or high-stakes domains. Banking, securities, or fintech is strongly preferred.
- Cloud-native delivery experience with AWS and/or GCP; comfort with data and AI project types.
- Credible ability to question engineering estimates, including the productivity impact of AI-assisted development.
- Capacity and resource planning across multiple concurrent projects.
- Confident stakeholder management with client CTOs and PMOs; sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
- Fluent across Agile and Waterfall delivery.
- Native Vietnamese and business-level English.
Nice to have
- PMP / Prince2 / Certified Scrum Master; MBA.
- Domain depth in core banking, securities / trading operations, or FIX protocol.
- Experience with AWS commercial / funding programs, such as MAP or partner funding, and cloud migration.
- Built or worked alongside AI / automation delivery teams.
First 6 months — what success looks like
- Take clean ownership of the assigned portfolio and its P&L, with a clear baseline and a reporting rhythm with the MD.
- Stabilize at least one large, at-risk or transitioning engagement to the agreed timeline and quality.
- Stand up the PM operating model: governance cadence, written standards, and a proposed KPI + bonus model tied to P&L and delivery performance.
- Keep requirement-driven scope creep below 5–10%, measured as missed-requirement creep against baselined scope, not approved client change requests; hold client CSAT at or above target.
- Produce an accurate capacity and hiring plan mapped to the sales pipeline.

- Team health and measurable growth in PM capability.
- Compensation includes a performance bonus tied to portfolio P&L and delivery KPIs.
