Principal iOS Native Engineer (Swift)

ANDPAD Viet Nam is looking for a Principal iOS Native Engineer (Swift) who can join our team and develop the application in cooperation with the product manager. Working in the form of Squad, a small team can quickly and consistently engage in everything from design to development, testing and operation.

Also, there are a lot of opportunities to work with new languages and frameworks other than the main language in an international environment.

Job Scope

• Design and implement the product functions using Swift and other mobile technologies such as Flutter

• Refactor existing applications, improve performance, and reduce regression testing costs by implementing appropriate test code

• Design and develop high-performance camera modules and drawing functions

• Design and implement APIs linked with the backend

• Define requirements and formulate specifications in collaboration with product managers, designers, and QA

• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in mobile technologies, and apply them to the product

• Enjoy working on challenging solutions and systems

Note: The assigned product will be determined based on the candidate’s skills and preferences, as well as the internal structure of the company.

Your Skills and Experience

Must-have:

• Empathy for ANDPAD’s mission and values

• 8+ years of experience in developing native iOS applications using Swift

• Experience with Clean Architecture design using SOLID principles, as well as selecting frameworks and technologies based on application requirements

• Experience as a technical lead throughout the full project development lifecycle

• Ability to create high-quality code for security, performance, scalability, etc.

• Excellent algorithms, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and experience improving application performance

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

• Experience dealing with scalability aligned with service growth

• Experience with UIKit and SwiftUI

• Experience in asynchronous and reactive programming

• Familiar with RESTful / GraphQL APIs

• Excellent development skills, including writing test code

• Knowledge of mobile application security

• Conduct regular code reviews and provide feedback to team members based on best practices

• Participate in planning software development projects and ensure quality and deadlines are met

• Strong communication skills with team members and other stakeholders

• Good English communication

Nice to have:

• Experience building projects from scratch

• Ensure high-quality work by monitoring individual and team performance and addressing issues through guidance and mentoring

• Responsible for supervising, managing, and motivating the mobile development team

• Ability to write project documentation

• Experience developing hybrid Flutter applications using Dart

• Experience in Android Native (Kotlin)

• Experience with automation testing
