Caspeco is looking for a Backend Developer (NodeJS, Automation & AI) to join our new AI-native Automation & Activation Squad in Hanoi, Vietnam

Today, Caspeco offers four complete systems for the hospitality and experience industry. We call them Booking, POS, Staff management and Analysis – and together they can drive your entire business forward. We’ve packed our systems with features that we know make a difference; they save time, reduce the risk of mistakes, improve communication and increase margins both in terms of payroll and raw materials.

What will you do?

In this role, you will focus on automating operational workflows, improving customer onboarding and activation, and reducing operational toils across the Operations, Support and Engineering departments. To achieve this, you will use an AI-native approach to rapidly build scalable software and automation that replaces manual work and fragmented tools, leveraging AI-assisted development, agents, internal tooling, support automation, and data-driven insights.

Additionally, you will be responsible for building robust internal system integrations connecting platforms like HubSpot, Caspeco RMS, Freshdesk, Business Central, internal data sources and Trello via webhooks.

Desired skills and experience:

• Strong engineering background with a focus on building automation, integrations and operational tooling.
• Experience in backend development, specifically with Node.js and scripting to maintain and modernize existing services and operational scripts.
• Experience with data migration, automated validation and building internal operational dashboards/tools.
• Proven experience in building internal system integrations and working with APIs/webhooks.
• A strong interest or experience in AI-native development workflows and leveraging AI tools.
• Excellent in verbal and written English.
